FAQs
What is MW Designs?
I’m Marvin Wheatle, a freelance graphic designer and illustrator behind MW Designs. I help businesses and individuals bring their ideas to life through creative design — from branding and logos to illustrations, digital content, and print.
What kind of design work do you do?
I cover a wide range of design services, including:
Logo design & full brand identities
Business stationery (cards, letterheads, etc.)
Posters, flyers & brochures
Social media graphics & digital content
Website visuals & supporting graphics
Custom illustrations & artwork
If you’ve got something in mind that’s a little different, just ask — I love tackling unique projects.
How does the design process work?
I like to keep things simple and collaborative:
Chat & Brief – We discuss your goals, ideas, and style preferences.
Proposal – I’ll put together a plan and quote for you to approve.
Concepts – I’ll create initial designs or sketches for feedback.
Refinements – You share your thoughts, I make the tweaks.
Final Delivery – You’ll get polished files in the formats you need.
Aftercare – I’m around for small edits or advice even after delivery.
How long will my project take?
It depends on what you need. A logo might take a week or two, while a full brand package or larger campaign could take a few weeks. I’ll always give you a clear timeline upfront.
What do you need from me?
The more you can share, the better! Things like:
Info about your business and audience
Styles, colours, or designs you love (and ones you don’t!)
Any existing branding you want me to work with
Text or images you’d like included
Any deadlines you’re working to
How much does it cost?
Every project is different, so I price based on the scope. I’ll always provide a clear quote before starting. For larger jobs, I usually ask for a deposit to book the work in, with the rest due on completion.
How many revisions are included?
Most projects include 2–3 rounds of revisions — plenty of space to refine and get things just right. Extra changes are no problem; we’ll just agree on an additional fee if it goes beyond the agreed scope.
What file types will I receive?
I supply files ready for both print and digital use — usually AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG and JPEG. If you need something specific, just let me know.
Do you only work with UK clients?
Not at all! While I’m UK-based, I work with clients worldwide. Everything can be done online via email, calls, and file transfers.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer is most common, but PayPal or other methods can be arranged if easier for you. Payment details will always be in the proposal.
What if I’m not happy with the design?
The whole process is built around collaboration, so you’ll always have input. My goal is that you’re happy with the end result — if there’s ever a serious issue, I’ll work with you to put it right.
Do you offer packages or ongoing support?
Yes — whether you need a full brand kit or regular monthly design support, I can put together a package tailored to your needs.
Who owns the work once it’s finished?
Once the final payment is made, the work is yours to use as agreed. I may ask to showcase it in my portfolio (unless you’d prefer I don’t).
How do I get started?
Drop me a message through my [contact page] or email me directly. Share a bit about your project, and we can arrange a chat to kick things off.
